In-House Programmes

We work with organisations to build the next generation of strong women leaders.  Focusing on the emerging needs of an organisation and its clients, we create bespoke development activities which draw upon the proven foundation of our Next Level programme.

An example of the benefits gained by our in-house work is shown by our on-going relationship with BMT Group. Since 2017 Gill has been leading our BMT Consulting Women Leadership Programme. BMT has systematically identified talented women to learn together with Gill in small groups of up to 8.

Typically our in-house programmes support participants over many months, involving individual strengths coaching;  a 2/3 day intensive webinar/workshop; peer networking and a series of interactive webinars that explore key leadership challenges identified by participants.  Webinar themes have addressed topics such as:

  • boosting personal and team Resilience

  • navigating the dynamics of organisational culture including Politics

  • deepening one's Presence as a leader; 

  • learning how to apply one's Strengths under Pressure

  • being an Entrepreneurial Leader of initiatives, drawing on the power of networks and 

  • Influencing with skill and integrity.


Gill has run this programme in many countries and has proved its effectiveness for women from diverse nationalities, cultures, ages and career phase.

We were also part of the original design and delivery team for ICAEW on their flagship Women In Leadership programme from inception in 2011 until 2018. The programme was widely acknowledged by both the senior women in finance who have participated and the Institute themselves.

As a result of our programme with Moira and Gill, we have observed a greater degree of confidence in some individuals, and others are more certain about who they are, what they contribute and what role they want and need to play in the team.  More people are asking for help when required, and using the strengths of others. The management team are more conscious how far we can and should push the team.

Through our flagship BMT Consulting Women programme we are developing women leaders across BMT with backgrounds as varied as naval architecture,  marine science, marine structural engineering and professionals in marketing, procurement, HR and programme management. 

Women who have attended the programme have become more confident, clearer on their contribution to the organisation and most importantly, are making a real difference to BMT and its clients, based on their unique strengths. We are already seeing an increased level of women applying for and succeeding in being appointed to more senior roles. Our BMT Consulting Women programme has also helped us with our retention and recruitment of women into STEM leadership roles.
